I charge $200/hr., except for all appointments beginning after 2 a.m. or before 8 a.m., my rate is $250. I do not offer student or military discounts. I do not offer discounts to bodybuilders. I do not offer discounts to seniors or the physically challenged. I do not offer frequent client discounts. In short, I do not discount my base rate.

For overnight engagements (8 hours), I charge $1000. This is negotiable, depending on the nature of the engagement. If you want me to travel outside the DC metropolitan area, either to travel to you or to travel with you, in addition to transportation costs, I charge $1300/day (24 hours). This includes travel time of 4 hours or more (long or multiple lay-overs, transoceanic or transcontinental flights). I only count travel time when travelling to the client, not the return trip from the client.  Please arrange travel engagements through my agent. I keep my passport current and am available for international travel. 

I consider the metropolitan DC area to consist of the cities of Washington and Alexandria, and the counties of Arlington, Fairfax, Montgomery and Prince George's. For trips to Baltimore, Howard County, Rehoboth Beach, Southern Maryland, Loudoun County, Prince William County, Charlottesville, Richmond, or the Tidewater area I charge a minimum of $600 for up to four hours.  This takes into account the travel time and transportation which I don't charge separately and is not part of the 4 hours we spend together. 

I do not accept one-way tickets for out-of-town travel, and I require that I be able to keep my return ticket in my possession at all times.

Payment

For all new clients, payment is due at the beginning of the engagement and should be placed somewhere conspicuous, e.g. a coffee table, a counter, a dresser. This way no one has to mention money at any time during the engagement. For overnight and longer engagements, clients may choose to pay half at the beginning and half at the end. While cash ($US, $CAN or €) is preferred, I accept travelers checks and money orders drawn in $US, $CAN or €.  

I DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS FROM FIRST-TIME CLIENTS. 

I only accept personal checks from previous clients, and only then if the check is drawn on a MD/DC/VA bank. I accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover credit/debit card payments via  online payment.
